TICKETS Muhba. A visit to the MUHBA on Plaça del Rei takes you a journey through Barcelona's two-thousand-year history. Under the museum, just a few floors under the current Barcelona city level you can visit the ruins of
Barcino, the Roman city of Barcelona. Here you can see the remains of the first city wall, its streets, craft workshops and the episcopal buildings of Barcino. On the
Plaça del Rei, where the central Barcelona History museum is located, you can also visit a series of splendid monuments which provide an insight into medieval Barcelona. These include the
Palau Reial Major - the medieval royal palace which also consists the'
Voltes Roméniques' - Romanesque vaulted chambers, the '
Saló del Tinell' great hall, the '
Capella de Santa ágata' and the watchtower '
Torre del Rei Martí.'
The MUHBA has seasonal exhibitions, an excellent gift shop, guided tours in different languages, night-time visits as well as lectures and seminars.
